EMERGEN LIFE SCIENCES (PRIVATE) LIMITED was established in the year 2012 with the vision of contributing towards a long-felt need to Research, Develop and Manufacture much required finished pharmaceutical formulations within Sri Lanka.
The manufacturing facility located in a suburb of the commercial capital Colombo was granted cGMP approval in 2013, heralding the emergence of EMERGEN amongst a relatively small group of Sri Lankan manufacturers of pharmaceuticals. Although the company had its initial focus on respiratory medication it has widened its product portfolio to encompass other therapeutic areas as well. Backed by a versatile team of scientists the company looks forward to the future with commitment and confidence.
